A working meeting was held in Tashkent between the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov, and the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Ruslan Chernetsky.
The parties discussed prospects for developing bilateral cultural cooperation. Particular attention was given to strengthening ties in cinematography, organizing theater exchange tours, and implementing joint educational projects.

Ruslan Chernetsky emphasized the importance of deepening interaction in cinema and theater, noting that cultural initiatives strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of the two countries.
In turn, Ozodbek Nazarbekov proposed enhancing cooperation in the educational sphere – in particular, expanding partnerships between specialized cultural institutions to train pedagogical staff in choreography. The Minister also emphasized the importance of joint efforts in introducing modern information technologies into the cultural sector.

Following the meeting, the Minister of Culture of Belarus expressed gratitude to the Uzbek side for the warm reception and the high level of organization of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Belarus taking place in Uzbekistan.
Following the negotiations, several documents aimed at strengthening cultural ties were signed.
