An online meeting of members of the Interparliamentary Commission for Cooperation between the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus took place.

Issues of strengthening friendly and trusting relations between Uzbekistan and Belarus, developing interparliamentary cooperation, ensuring the implementation of agreements at the highest levels, and expanding trade and economic ties between the two countries were discussed. The need for regular Commission meetings to discuss trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian cooperation, strengthen regional ties, and secure parliamentary support for joint investment projects was emphasized.

An agreement was reached to deepen inter-parliamentary dialogue and develop regional ties.
