Uzbekistan and Belarus: Cooperation between young parliamentarians strengthens
A videoconference took place between members of the Youth Parliament under the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Youth Parliament under the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
During the dialogue, members of the youth parliaments of the two countries exchanged views on activities and projects to develop young people’s legal and political culture.

At the meeting, the parties took a significant step forward by signing a detailed roadmap for implementing the Memorandum of Cooperation for 2024-2025, outlining the specific actions and events to be undertaken.
The roadmap provides for holding roundtable discussions on current issues of youth policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus, face-to-face or remote meetings with young people studying and working in these countries, and other mutually beneficial events for young people.
