The Al-Ayyam newspaper reported that the Minister of Finance and National Economy of Bahrain, Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, met with the Minister of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan, Jamshid Kuchkarov, at the AlUla Conference for Emerging Market Economies in Saudi Arabia.

The importance of further development of cooperation between Bahrain and Uzbekistan was emphasized during the dialogue. The steady growth in bilateral relations, especially in the financial and economic spheres has been observes, due to the both countries’ desire to expand cooperation in the interests of their peoples.

Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa stressed the importance of forums promoting the exchange of experience and economic development in the region, noting that this conference plays a significant role in this direction. Bahrain expressed its readiness to support joint efforts aimed at developing economic partnerships and projects that contribute to achieving regional integration, accelerating economic growth, and ensuring sustainable development.
