Journalists from Uzbekistan are visiting Baku.
Today, they took part in an event titled “Digital Transformation and Media” held at Baku State University, organized within the framework of the 2nd Azerbaijan – Uzbekistan Media Forum.

Dean of the Faculty of Journalism Vugar Aliyev highlighted the strong ties between the two countries in the fields of print and media, as well as the importance of implementing joint projects.

The guests were introduced to the faculty’s activities in training specialists. Rauf Hasanov, Head of the University’s International Relations Department, provided information about the university’s educational and scientific work, as well as its efforts in advancing international cooperation.

It was noted that Baku State University is strengthening its cooperation with several universities in Uzbekistan. Agreements have been signed, and a program for student and faculty exchanges is underway, along with joint scientific research, conferences, and seminars. In particular, partnerships have been established with Bukhara State University, Tashkent State Pedagogical University, the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan, and the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek. Agreements have also been signed on joint educational programs and the implementation of dual-degree projects.
The leadership of Baku State University emphasized that cooperation with Uzbekistan plays an important role not only in education but also in enriching science, culture, and student life. This, in turn, further strengthens relations between the two brotherly peoples.
