The Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and tour operators presented Uzbekistan’s tourism potential at the Danish Travel Show in Denmark on February 20-22.

The national stand of Uzbekistan showcased the country’s rich historical and cultural heritage, as well as opportunities for pilgrimage, gastronomic, ecological, and mountain tourism. Presentations were held on the tourism opportunities of Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and Tashkent, as well as on new tourist routes and modern infrastructure.

At B2B meetings with foreign partners, issues related to increasing the flow of tourists from Northern European countries to Uzbekistan, developing joint travel packages, and expanding marketing cooperation were discussed. Detailed information was also provided on Uzbekistan’s status as an open and safe tourist destination, the visa-free regime, and simplified visa procedures.
