Uzbekistan among the world’s top ten gold producers
In 2024, global gold production reached 3,600 tons, showing a modest increase of just 0.5 percent compared to 2023. Despite the slight growth, demand for gold remains steadily high across both industrial applications and financial markets.
According to the report, China retained its position as the world’s leading gold producer, followed by Russia and Australia. Canada and the United States round out the top five. Uzbekistan has also secured a place among the ten largest gold-producing countries worldwide.
