At the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for enhancing bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Nadzirah Binti Osman praised the initiative of Uzbekistan to establish a Multi-Partner Human Security Trust Fund for the Aral Sea Region under the auspices of the UN.

Views were exchanged on prospects for strengthening the political dialogue between the countries by further expanding inter-parliamentary ties, in particular within the framework of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
