Uzbekistan Airports to receive new apron buses
16:34 / 2024-02-28

Uzbekistan Airports has acquired four apron buses of Germany’s Cobus Industries GmbH for Tashkent International Airport.

The Cobus 3000 low-floor apron bus is the largest model in the line, with a length of almost 14 meters and a width of 3 meters. The cabin has a capacity of 104 people: inside, there are ten seats and 94 places for standing passengers. The bus is equipped with a pneumatic floor height adjustment system, which ensures the convenience of boarding and disembarking passengers with luggage, strollers, and people with disabilities.

It should be noted that Uzbekistan Airways is systematically working to update and modernize its fleet of special vehicles. So, in addition to apron buses, new universal machines for cleaning the airfield complex, equipment for de-icing aircraft, aircraft tow trucks, and air conditioning installations in the cabin were purchased.
