Uzbekistan Airports introduces a new registration system
19:16 / 2022-01-12

Uzbekistan Airports is gradually implementing the Astra DCS passenger and baggage check-in system. It was tested at Namangan International Airport. It has already been used to service flights of Ural Airlines in the direction of Namangan – Moscow.

“Previously, all airports used the same check-in system from the national airline. In the future, there was a need for its registration system for airports. Uzbekistan Airports has chosen the Astra DCS system from Sirena Travel”, said First Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekistan Airports Javlon Umarkhodjayev. – The transition will be carried out in stages at all 11 international airports of Uzbekistan to this system for all airlines that do not have their registration system or their system is not installed at the country’s airports. The Astra DCS system has a graphical interface and allows for quick and convenient check-in of passengers and luggage.

It should be noted that this supplier was selected based on the results of open competitive procedures. Astra DCS from Sirena Travel is a modern multilingual host system that automatically performs all the necessary operations of the passenger and baggage check-in process.
