The Ministry of Sports hosted a meeting to discuss the preparation and successful participation of Uzbekistan’s athletes in the Summer World University Games, to be held on July 16-27, 2025, in Germany.

It was noted that within the framework of these prestigious competitions, student-athletes from Uzbekistan will compete in 11 sports: archery, gymnastics, athletics, diving, judo, rhythmic gymnastics, rowing, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, and tennis.

During the discussion, special attention was paid to the key aspects necessary for the successful performance of Uzbekistan’s athletes at the University Games, which is an essential stage in preparation for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.

To achieve high results at the University Games, the responsible persons were given specific instructions in each area.
