Uzbekistan has acceded to the Agreement on the Financial Rules of the Secretariat of the Turkic Council.

The agreement was signed on 23 August 2012 in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan). It determines the sources of funding, the procedure for the formation and execution of the Secretariat’s budget.

The competent authority responsible for the implementation of the Agreement is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was instructed to send the depositary a corresponding notification on Uzbekistan’s accession to the said Agreement and the competent authority responsible for its implementation.
