“Uzbekistan-2030” Strategy presented in Kyiv

A roundtable discussion on “Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy: Development, Democracy, Security” was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ukraine.

Representatives of Ukrainian expert and analytical circles and leading media attended the event.

The event was moderated by the famous Ukrainian political scientist, Director of the Foreign Policy Research Institute of Ukraine Grigory Perepelitsa. He noted that the “Uzbekistan-2030” Strategy is aimed at joining the ranks of countries with high average income through sustainable economic development, contains ideas for creating an education system, medical and social protection that fully meets the needs of the people and international standards, as well as ensuring the sovereignty and security of the country.

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Alisher Kurmanov made a presentation on “Economic liberalization and international cooperation guarantee the development of the economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

It was emphasized that the “Uzbekistan-2030” Strategy would be the leading platform for planning large-scale economic, social security, political, and security reforms for the next seven years.
