Uzbekhydroenergo JSC leadership, during a business trip to China, held talks with China Southern Power Grid and Huaneng companies.

Issues related to implementing Upper Pskem HPP and Khujakent HPP projects, as well as the best practices of Chinese companies in the operation and management of hydropower facilities were discussed at the meeting. Chinese experts highly appreciated the energy system created in Uzbekistan and expressed a desire to get acquainted with the Situation Center in Uzbekistan.

The HPP projects are the first experience in Central Asia and will contribute to increasing the stability of electricity supply and uninterrupted operation.
