The Public Chamber of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the International Association of Writers of Russia awarded the famous Uzbek writer and playwright, editor-in-chief of the “Inson va Qonun” newspaper Quchqor Norqobil with the Order of Saint Anna.
The writer received this award for his works “I Came to See Your Eyes”, “Tulip in the Snow” and several of his other works published in Russia. The author’s works with high artistic skill reflect universal ideas, the theme of love, national values, the character of ordinary people. It is especially gratifying that the writer's books, glorifying human feelings in the tragic war years, began to be published in European countries.
At a solemn event held on this occasion at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, this award was presented to the writer by Deputy Minister of Justice Muzraf Ikramov.
As is known, this award is given to representatives of creativity, actively promoting art and culture in literature, making a worthy contribution to the development of literary ties between peoples.
