The Uzbek Students Union has been established in Austria. It aims to develop a permanent dialogue and unite compatriots studying in the country.

The students of the University of Vienna were registered with the Department for Work with Vienna Police Associations on the initiative of fellow compatriots Sardor Aziztoyev and Iskandar Nazarov.

The diplomats of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Vienna congratulated fellow compatriots on the establishment of the student union and stressed that the state and the diplomatic mission will support their activities.

During the meeting, practical work plans, admission issues for new members, and the organization of cultural and educational events with the participation of Uzbek students in Austria were discussed. Additionally, the union members were provided with information about the activities of the Vatandoshlar Public Foundation, which aims to support compatriots abroad.

Fellow compatriots noted that they will develop an action plan for the 2025/2026 academic year, which they intend to implement in close cooperation with the Embassy of Uzbekistan.
