23:59 / 2025-03-26

The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society held its international “TMS Annual Meeting 2025” conference in Las Vegas.

More than 4,000 scientists from leading global organizations, industries, and academic institutions specializing in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, and advanced materials participated in the event.

The Uzbek team presented their scientific paper titled “In-Depth Analysis of the Effect of Annealing Duration at Different Temperatures on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of High-Entropy Alloys”. The significance of this discovery lies in its contribution to ensuring high-temperature resistance for new types of advanced materials. Their research detailed nanoscale structural changes while maintaining mechanical properties.

The research was highly acclaimed by the international jury and awarded first place for offering innovative solutions to current challenges in modern materials science.

Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Elyorjon Jumayev, who presented his scientific discovery at the event, is a young Uzbek scientist who has previously collaborated on projects in the laboratories of globally renowned companies, including Hyundai Motors, Samsung, NASA, and Oak Ridge. He has discovered over 350 types of materials, holds more than seven international patents, and has published 16 scientific articles in prestigious international journals.
