Associate Professor of the Department of Corporate Finance and Securities at Tashkent State University of Economics, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Khamidulla Kholikov has won a scholarship from the International Capital Market Association (ICMA 2025). The winning grant of 10,350 euros allows him to complete a prestigious educational program specializing in financial markets.

According to ICMA, many applications from Asian, African, and Latin American countries have been submitted for this year’s scholarship. According to the competition results, the 15 most worthy candidates were selected, whose evaluation took into account their professional experience, academic achievements, and plans for the future.
Khamidulla Kholikov will study under the ICMA Diploma in Debt Capital Markets program as part of the scholarship program. This program aims to improve the skills of specialists in working with debt instruments, securities, and derivatives in international capital markets. The learning process covers debt capital markets, securities, derivatives, and financial market operations. The program will start in March 2025, and ICMA fully covers all tuition costs.
It should be noted that this scholarship was awarded to a representative of Uzbekistan for the first time. This once again confirms the growing international authority of Tashkent State University of Economics.
