Uzbek scientist awarded “Birlik” Gold Medal
The head of the department of scientific research and training of scientific and pedagogical personnel of Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi, Nodirbek Juraquziyev, has been awarded “Birlik” gold medal for his contribution to the development of friendship, cultural-educational and scientific ties between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
The medal was established by the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan at the initiative of the First President of Kazakhstan– Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev.
N. Juraquziyev was born in Fergana region’s Beshariq district. In 2018, he defended his dissertation and received a Ph.D. in philology. He is the author of more than 50 scientific articles. The scientist’s articles have been published in leading foreign scientific journals.
