Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature widely promotes the Uzbek language, develops special methods for teaching it.

More than 300 foreign citizens from Korea, China, the United States, Brazil, India, Japan, Germany, France have successfully studied the Uzbek language courses for foreigners, which have been operating at the University for five years as an experiment.

Now the University has opened the Uzbek School, where the Uzbek language will be taught in small, and medium groups or individually. Advisor to the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education Odinakhon Jamoliddinova, ambassadors of foreign countries in Uzbekistan, representatives of international organizations, leadership, and teaching staff of the University attended the opening ceremony of the school.

The “Uzbek language for foreigners” was presented at the event. It is designed for level A1. The textbook, prepared by the University teachers, consists of 12 topics, arranged in a logical sequence from simple to complex, which allows you to master writing, speaking, reading, and listening skills. Special test tasks are prepared for the listener at the end of each topic. The textbook helps to learn not only the Uzbek language, but also the Uzbek culture.
