Uzbek publicist and writer Ismet Kuchiyev was awarded the Golden Order “Friend of Azerbaijan”

The famous Uzbek publicist, poet and writer, author of the books “Victory of Heydar Aliyev” and “Triumph of Azerbaijan” Ismet Kuchiyev was awarded the Golden Order “Friend of Azerbaijan”.

The award was presented to Ismet Kuchiyev for his brotherly and friendly attitude towards the Azerbaijani people.

At the presentation ceremony of the book “100 Moments of the Life of Heydar Aliyev” within the framework of the International Project “Publishing books dedicated to the legacy of the great leader Heydar Aliyev”, organized at the National Library of Russia, the Golden Order “Friend of Azerbaijan” was presented to Ismet Kuchiyev by the Editor-in-Chief of the international magazine “My Azerbaijan”, Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Sciences Emil Nasirli.

Expressing satisfaction with the current level of relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, Emil Nasirli emphasized that the friendship between the two peoples has deep historical roots.

Emil Nasirli said that political relations between the two states have long been in the nature of a strategic partnership. Currently, the personal relations between President Ilham Aliyev and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev play a decisive role in achieving a high level of Azerbaijan – Uzbekistan interaction in relations. It is no coincidence that in addition to state and official visits, both Presidents often meet as part of various international events.

In 2023, another book by Ismet Kuchiyev entitled “The Triumph of Azerbaijan” was published. In it, the writer introduces readers to the life path and activities of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The author notes that in the formation of Ilham Aliyev’s personality, the role of his father Heydar Aliyev, a man of great intelligence and dignity, is undeniable, noted Emil Nasirli.
