Uzbek potters’ products are presented in Tokyo
A group of artisans from Uzbekistan is taking part in the Days of Uzbek Culture in Tokyo.
As part of the event, the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation organized an exhibition devoted to Uzbek pottery. The exhibition, presented at the Tokyo National Museum, features more than 50 unique works by leading Uzbek masters.

According to the Hunarmand Association, as part of the exhibition, the masters of the Rakhimov dynasty held masterclasses and introduced visitors to the basics of pottery, traditional decorative styles, and their modern interpretations.
This project clearly demonstrates the high artistic value of Uzbek pottery as an essential part of Central Asia’s intangible cultural heritage and helps strengthen cultural dialogue between Uzbekistan and Japan.
