Uzbek holiday pilaf at the international gastronomic festival in Washington
Uzbek national cuisine was presented in the U.S. capital at the annual gastronomic festival “Embassy Chef Challenge”.
The event participants were representatives of diplomatic missions, cultural, humanitarian, educational, public organizations, and business circles in the United States.
Representatives of the Uzbek side presented the tourism and gastronomic potential of Uzbekistan, its cultural traditions, and the main dishes of Uzbek national cuisine.
The Uzbek stand made a great impression on the festival organizers and guests. The specially prepared wedding pilaf aroused particular interest among the guests. Guests were informed about Uzbek national cuisine and gastronomic tourism in Uzbekistan.
An exhibition of Uzbek folk applied art and national crafts was also organized as part of the event.
