Uzbek grapes have been exported to 19 countries around the world
15:41 / 2025-10-15

Uzbekistan is increasing its agricultural exports every year. In particular, the production and export of grapes have been experiencing significant growth.

This became possible due to an increase in export-oriented varieties, improved logistics, the introduction of advanced storage technologies, and the expansion of vineyard areas.

According to the National Statistics Committee, 86.2 thousand tons of fresh grapes worth $78.3 million were exported from the country in January-August 2025. This is 64 percent more than in the same period last year.

Russia remains the leader in terms of imports of Uzbek grapes, with 63.4 thousand tons of supplied products. Kazakhstan is in second place (15.2 thousand tons), followed by Kyrgyzstan (4.5 thousand tons), Belarus, and Ukraine. In total, Uzbek grapes were exported to 19 countries in 2025.

The introduction of advanced irrigation technologies and scientifically based agricultural systems helps to increase yields, and the development of infrastructure for the storage and processing of fruit and vegetable products helps to maintain quality for a long time.
