Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel Zehavit Ben-Hillel.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties discussed the state and priority areas for further development of Uzbekistan – Israel relations, as well as interaction within the UN and other international organizations.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of effective use of the potential of cooperation in trade, economic and investment areas, as well as in innovation, medicine, education and tourism.

The schedule, organizational and substantive aspects of the upcoming contacts, as well as the next round of consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Israel were discussed.
