On May 8, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

The parties discussed intensifying political and economic dialogue and enhancing cooperation in all sectors. They noted a readiness to develop trusting ties in all areas.

It was emphasized that the visit to Pakistan is essential since it takes place on the eve of the 32nd anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Following the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan planted a tree to symbolize the desire to strengthen friendship and partnership between the two countries and peoples.
