The Uzbek Film Week is being held in the Palace of Youth Creativity on the initiative of Uzbekkino Agency.

The feature film “Sumbul”, filmed by cinematographers of Tatarstan and Uzbekistan based on the work of Zifa Kadyrova “Sumbul” was shown on the big screen for the first time. A casting for young directors, a film concert, attended by famous actors and singers, took place.

Famous directors Ali Khamrayev, Farkhad Makhmudov and Ayub Shakhobiddinov will hold master classes. A competition of children’s creativity “Uzbekistan – our Motherland” will be organized. The events of the week also include a special screening of cartoons returned from foreign film funds, roundtable discussions on “New Uzbekistan and national cinematography: film projects to be launched in 2021, new ideas for 2022”, “Perspective plans of “Zumrasha” film magazine”, “The fate of a woman on the screen”.
