Uzbek Film Week, organized by Uzbekkino National Agency, is full of bright and interesting events.
The premieres of the films “I am not a terrorist”, “Sumbul” took place on the first and second days of the week. A red carpet for show business, representatives and famous film actors, castings, master classes, creative meetings and roundtable discussions were organized.
The third day of the week began with a special briefing with the creators of the war drama “I am not a terrorist” based on real events.
Masterclasses were held for young filmmakers with the participation of the actor, well known to the Uzbek audience for the film “Baron’, Honored Artist of Russia Farkhod Makhmudov, the famous film director Ali Khamraev, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Seydulla Moldakhanov and the talented director Ayub Shakhobiddinov.
One of the most important events of the day was the opening ceremony of the Riviera cinema in the capital. After the opening ceremony, the film “2000 Songs of Farida” in Russian was presented to the attention of cinema fans.
The remaining days of the Film Week will be devoted to screenings of documentaries, the issues of the revival of Tashkent International Film Festival, the “Debut” Young Filmmakers Festival, as well as the 90th anniversary of Shukhrat Abbasov’s birth.
