Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bobur Usmanov, has met with the Vice Governor of the People’s Government of Sichuan Province of the People’s Republic of China, Zuo Yongxiang.

According to the Uzbekistan MFA, during the talks, issues of enhancing cooperation between Uzbekistan and China, in particular with Sichuan province, were discussed. Special attention was paid to prospects for deepening interregional ties, using the existing significant potential for cooperation in trade, economics, investment, tourism, education, and other spheres.

Mutual interest was expressed in implementing joint projects in automotive manufacturing, green energy, and smart agriculture.
