On August 29, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Uzbekistan Yousef Al-Otaibi, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The state and prospects of enhancing Uzbekistan - Saudi Arabia relations in the political, trade-economic, investment, and humanitarian spheres were discussed at the meeting.

Special attention was paid to the dialogue between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia within the framework of the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), and other international structures.

The schedule and organizational aspects of the upcoming joint events at various levels were considered.
