Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov has met with the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of Iran, Mohammad Eslami.

The parties discussed the state and prospects of cooperation in transport, communication and logistics.

The importance of the early launch of intraregional and interregional transport corridors was emphasized, which will contribute to deepening trade-economic cooperation and enhancing mutually beneficial ties, as well as cultural and humanitarian exchanges between the two countries.

The parties also considered the possibility of restoring permanent flights between the two countries with the participation of Uzbekistan and Iranian air carriers.
