Uzbek Commodity Exchange opens its trading platform in Riga

Uzbek Commodity Exchange has opened a trading platform in Latvia’s Riga.

According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan, the founder is the Latvian company LLC Shipleart (AP Holding).

The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Latvia Kadambay Sultanov, UzEx delegation led by First Deputy Chairman of the Board Zulfiddin Kamalov, Chairman of the Board of AP Holding Alexander Petrov, senior representatives of the Employers' Confederation of Latvia and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

It was noted that the launch of a new trading platform in Riga will contribute to an increase in the volume of domestic exports to Latvia and European countries, in particular, oil products, ferrous metal, chemical products, electrical machinery and equipment, and will also make a significant contribution to efforts to stabilize import prices for several food products in demand in Uzbekistan.
