Uzbek chess players at the World Championships
The Island of Rhodes hosts the IBCA World Individual Chess Championship for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
The tournament consists of nine rounds. Uzbekistan’s athletes are also participating in it among 82 chess players from 29 countries. At the World Championships, which will last until October 18, the honor of Uzbekistan will be defended by Kuralbay Jakashov, Ikrom Gulomov, Mokhigul Maqsudova and Sadoqat Ikromaliyeva.

Kuralbay Jakashov won in the first two rounds, and Ikrom Gulomov, Mokhigul Maqsudova and Sadoqat Ikromaliyeva ended up in a draw.
