Uzbekistan’s Zaynab Dayibekova (22nd in the world ranking) is taking part in Fencing World Cup, in Georgia.

According to the National Olympic Committee, she kept her chances of fighting for a medal. Due to the high rating, she joins the matches from the 1/64 finals. Unfortunately, all other young Uzbek athletes completed their performance at the qualification stage.

In the fight for reaching the 1/32 finals, Zaynab Dayibekova will meet with Amalia Aime from France (43^rd in the world ranking). If she wins, she will face the winner of the confrontation between Japanese Norika Tamura (11^th in the world ranking) and Italian Eloisa Passaro (54^th in the world ranking).
