Uzbekistan’s Shakhnoza Mamajonova advanced to the Summer Paralympic Games Paris 2024 at the World Shooting Para Sport Championships in Lima, Peru.

The athlete took fifth place in the women’s 10-meter air pistol shooting competition in class P2, showing the best result among Asian athletes.

In the next World Championships, a member of the Uzbekistan National Team Aziz Ibragimov will defend the country’s honor in air pistol shooting from 10 meters in the P1 class.

The championships will run until September 29.
