In all its diversity, Uzbek fine art was presented at the Tbilisi Art Fair “Gallery 81”, which was held in the capital of Georgia from April 11 to 14.
The public highly appreciated bright paintings by Uzbek artists. Two of them – “The Bygone Era” by Umar Rajabov and “Protection” by the young artist MG – received the attention of Georgian President Salomé Zourabichvili and took pride of place in her collection, which became the highest recognition of Uzbekistan art school and an essential step in strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.
In general, the Tbilisi Art Fair has played an essential role in promoting and recognizing Uzbek fine art.
Thanks to Gallery 81, the Georgian public got an idea of the rich national color reflected in the canvases in a modern interpretation. The exhibition’s visitors left numerous positive reviews and expressed a great desire to visit Uzbekistan to learn its culture and traditions better.
The success of Uzbek artists at the fair is not only a celebration of high achievements, but also a significant step forward in international cultural exchange.
