Systematic work is underway in Uzbekistan to harmonize international standards with national standards.
This contributes to the introduction of modern requirements across various sectors of the economy, improving the quality of products and services, and strengthening competitiveness in foreign markets.
As a result of efforts by the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation, the level of harmonization has reached 43.9 percent, indicating the effectiveness of the reforms being implemented in technical regulation.
The harmonization of standards improves product safety and quality, helps to reduce technical barriers for manufacturers, and expands opportunities for domestic enterprises to enter international markets.
It is planned to continue working in this direction to increase the rate of harmonization with international standards.
The activities of the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation are essential for the sustainable development of the national economy and increasing the country’s export potential.
