The TASS First Deputy Director General Mikhail Gusman, who arrived in Uzbekistan as an observer at the Presidential Election, visited Uzbekistan National News Agency – UzA.

Mr. Gusman, in a conversation with the UzA Director General Abdusaid Kuchimov, noted that the election was held based on democratic principles at a high organizational level.

 “Yesterday I watched the voting at several polling stations in Tashkent”, says Mr. Gusman. – One of the most important principles – openness and transparency – was fully ensured in the elections.

The international observer also emphasized that the creative work in Tashkent is gaining momentum. The reforms initiated by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev are successfully continuing.

The parties exchanged views on developing creative cooperation between the UzA and TASS agencies.
