UzA Garden expands
15:24 / 2022-03-09

In November last year, employees of Uzbekistan National News Agency (UzA) laid a garden on a hectare in the Payariq district of Samarkand region as part of the nationwide project Green Space in Uzbekistan.

They planted seedlings of fruit and ornamental trees.

At the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, a new Green Year project was launched in 2022, the goal of which is to turn the country into a garden and form a rational attitude towards nature. The garden, planted by UzA employees, was expanded by another hectare. Together with the activists of the “Nakurt” mahalla, employees of Uzbekistan National News Agency planted over 600 tree seedlings.

“The seedlings planted in autumn have already begun to bud”, says a gardener Farkhod Dehkanov. – Journalists work in the capital, so we lovingly help to take care of the trees. Soon the garden will become a decoration of our mahalla.
