UzA, Anadolu sign Cooperation Agreement
04:16 / 2022-03-30

UzA is systematically working to establish cooperation in information exchange with the world’s leading news agencies under the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 2, 2019 “On measures to further improve the activities of Uzbekistan National News Agency”.

The next step in this direction has been taken today. During the visit of the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Uzbekistan, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between Uzbekistan National News Agency – UzA and Anadolu Agency of Turkey – AA.

The document was signed by UzA Director General Abdusaid Kuchimov and AA Chairman of the Board, Director General Serdar Karagöz to regularly exchange reliable information about current events in both countries and around the world.

UzA is the only official source of information in Uzbekistan and the country’s leading news agency. Similarly, Anadolu is also Turkey’s main broadcaster.

UzA covers in detail the activities of government agencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and important socio-political events in the country. The network of correspondents of the Agency in the regions allows to quickly and accurately report on changes and news in all regions of the country. UzA news, analytical articles and materials of various other genres are distributed in Uzbek, Russian, English, French, German, Spanish, Arabic, Kazakh and Chinese.

Headquartered in Ankara, Anadolu is rightly recognized as one of the world’s leading news agencies. With branches in over 30 countries, AA operates in Turkish, Albanian, English, Arabic, Bosnian, Kurdish, Macedonian, Persian, Russian and French.

We believe that the signing of this agreement will serve to further strengthen the Strategic Partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkey and the centuries-old friendship between the people of the two countries, disseminate objective information about the two countries in foreign countries and promote the prestige of Uzbekistan.
