On July 23 this year, the Resolution of the President on measures to systematically reform the activities of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy was adopted.

In the 2022/2023 academic year, the activities of the university will be transformed based on the concept of a new generation of higher education institutions – Smart University.

Every year, at least 10 professors, teachers, doctoral students and undergraduates of the university will be sent to leading educational institutions in foreign countries for scientific internships and advanced training. Until January 1, 2025, measures will be taken to include the university in the international scientific and technical database “Scopus”.

From the 2022/2023 academic year, active students of the university will be sent for an internship at the diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan abroad for training. The editorial office of the journal “International Relations: Politics, Economics, Law” will be established at the university.
