As part of the International Opera and Ballet Festival, the troupe presented one-act ballets, the Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
The ballet “Naples, or the Fisherman and his Bride” was composed by the Danish August Bournonville. At the premiere in 1842, Bournonville’s choreography seemed too fast and too intellectual to the audience. Now, this is a world classic of choreography. The second part of the evening consisted of two new works. This is a miniature “Terzetto” by Alexander Merkushev, an example of modern high-speed classical dance. And also, the production of the Director of the Ural Ballet Maxim Petrov “Noon” to the music of Debussy.

The evening ended with “Salieri Variations” – one of the best works by Vyacheslav Samodurov, a modern image of the ancient “white ballet”.
The International Opera and Ballet Festival is held with the support of the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan.
