Updated Constitution and Youth

The Institute of National Variety Art named after Batyr Zakirov at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan hosted a roundtable discussion on “The updated Constitution and youth”.

It was noted that over the past period, intensive work was carried out on the draft of the updated Constitution.

The draft Constitutional law includes several norms relating to youth. For the first time the obligation of the state to ensure the development of a system of continuous education of various types and forms, state and non-state education organizations is defined.

A separate article is devoted to the rights of youth, according to which the state ensures the protection of the personal, political, economic, social, cultural and environmental rights of young people, encourages their active participation in the life of society and the state.

The state creates conditions for the spiritual, intellectual, creative, physical and moral formation and development of young people, the realization of their rights to education, healthcare, housing, employment, work and rest.

The updated Constitution of Uzbekistan was recognized by the participants of the meeting as the “Youth Constitution”.
