On July 11, representatives of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) led by Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashvili arrived in Uzbekistan.

During the three-day visit, the UNWTO Secretary-General will hold bilateral meetings and negotiations at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, where he will discuss preparations for the 25th Session of the UNWTO General Assembly to be held on October 16-20 in Samarkand.

UNWTO technical group representatives will visit Samarkand on July 13-15, where they will visit several attractions and get acquainted with the preparation process for the upcoming event.
