The event was organized on the initiative of Hunarmand Association with support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Ministries of Culture, the Physical Culture and Sports, the Academy of Arts, the State Committee for Tourism Development, Tashkent city khokimiyat and the Youth Union.

The exhibition-fair “Souvenirs of Uzbekistan” was organized to develop national craftsmanship, production of various souvenirs, study the needs of tourists arriving in the country, create new jobs by developing traditions of “master-student” school. It provides an opportunity to expand the range, improve the quality and design of souvenirs, explain the essence and importance of intangible cultural heritage, establish dialogue between artisans and consumers.
Exhibition became a holiday of art, national traditions and hospitality. Within the framework of the event, master classes, creative conversations were held, musical programs of folklore groups were demonstrated. Following the event, artisans in various categories were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.
