Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (ECE) Olga Algayerova visited the city of Samarkand.

The distinguished guest got acquainted with the sights of the city of Samarkand, in particular, visited the mausoleum of Amir Temur, and the Registan Square. The history and rich cultural heritage of our people aroused her admiration.

Olga Algayerova noted that the unique historical monuments and handicrafts in Samarkand made a great impression on her. The guests also visited the ancient dehkan market Siyab. Members of the delegation got acquainted with the Shakhi Zinda monument and the museum-complex of Mirzo Ulugbek.
