The UN Special Rapporteur on the right to adequate housing, Balakrishnan Rajagopal, accompanied by the First Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Akmal Saidov, visited Bukhara.

Bukhara region’s Hokim Botir Zaripov welcomed the high-ranking guest at the railway station.

During his visit to Uzbekistan, Balakrishnan Rajagopal is studying Uzbekistan’s legislation in protection of the right to housing and its implementation.

The high-ranking guest was informed about activities to improve Bukhara residents’ living conditions.

The specialists gave detailed answers to all the questions of the high-ranking guests.
