The Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov held talks with the Director General of Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, and Chairman of E20 Investment Saeed Al-Ameri.

The Emirati side highly appreciated the transformations carried out in Uzbekistan in recent years and thanked for the support provided in the implementation of a joint project to create a fruit and berry cluster in Andijan region.

The company plans to begin work on the implementation of the second phase of the project, which involves growing 6 thousand tons of high-yielding and export-oriented varieties of blueberries and bilberries.

During a constructive exchange of views, issues of further enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation were considered, particularly the development of new investment projects in agriculture, fish farming, and veterinary medicine.

Following the talks, mutual readiness was expressed for further developing the partnership and adopting joint measures to accelerate the implementation of activities as part of new projects and initiatives.
