Issues of expanding cooperation in financial sector reform were discussed.

Larry McDonald noted a number of issues in which the U.S. government is ready to provide technical assistance. In particular, cooperation on development of the capital market and government securities market, cyber security, as well as prevention of financial crimes and financing terrorism in Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, Larry McDonald praised the activities implemented by the Central Bank in the field of monetary policy and the banking sector, expressed readiness to support the planned reforms and provide necessary technical assistance on these issues.
