Representatives of Uzbekistan’s national team are performing successfully at the U17 and U23 Asian Wrestling Championships, currently taking place in Vietnam.

In the Greco-Roman wrestling events among U23 athletes, Uzbekistan’s Samandar Bobonazarov won the gold medal in the 82 kg weight category by defeating Bekzat Orunkul Uulu of Kyrgyzstan. Abdullo Aliyev also secured a gold medal in the 72 kg category by overcoming Kutman Temirbekov, also from Kyrgyzstan.

Uzbekistan’s Mehroj Bahromov and Ogabek Muqimov earned silver and bronze medals, respectively.
